Wallets and signing

Nacre works with any Wallet Standard wallet: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack and the rest. The engine builds every transaction and your wallet signs it.

Signing in

Connecting asks your wallet to sign one message, Sign In With Solana, naming this site. It is a signature, not a transaction: nothing moves and no fee is paid. The site keeps that session until it expires or you sign out.

How a trade is signed

  1. The engine builds the transaction from what you entered and simulates it on the chain before showing it.
  2. Your wallet shows what it does, and you sign.
  3. The engine checks the signed copy against what it built and sends it.

Wallets may add their own safety instructions before they sign; Phantom adds Lighthouse checks. Nacre accepts a buy or sell as your wallet returns it, as long as your wallet pays the fee and signed it.

Creating a coin

A create carries two signatures: yours and the coin’s fresh mint key. The engine adds the mint key’s only after it finds the create instruction unchanged and the mint used nowhere but in your first buy.
