Launch a coin

A coin takes one signature to create. Every field is optional, and every coin’s mint address ends in deep.

What you fill in

  • Name, up to 32 characters.
  • Symbol, 2 to 10 capital letters or digits. Left empty, it is taken from the name.
  • Image, PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP up to 1 MB. Left empty, the coin gets its own pearl.
  • Description, up to 280 characters, and links to a website, X and Telegram.
  • Priced in: SOL or one of 20 xStocks (stock pairs). The raise, the pool and its fees are all in that unit.
  • Your first buy, made in the creating transaction.

Beside the form, Launch shows the pool the coin will graduate into: what it opens with, its fee, its lock and how far a buy moves its price on day one.

When you press Launch

  1. Empty fields are filled in the form: a name and ticker in Nacre’s voice, and the coin’s pearl as its image.
  2. The image and the token’s metadata are pinned to IPFS.
  3. The engine builds the create transaction around a fresh mint key ending in deep, and simulates it.
  4. Your wallet signs. The engine checks the signed copy, co-signs with the mint key and sends it.
  5. The coin’s page opens, its curve live on the board.

The first buy

The first buy sits in the same transaction as the create, so it lands before anyone else can trade. It pays the 1.75% base fee, not the 25% opening fee the curve charges in its first seconds (the curve).

For a coin priced in a stock, the first buy can be paid in SOL: Jupiter swaps the SOL into the stock first, and the launch spends what that swap guaranteed (paying with SOL).

Mints ending in deep

Every coin’s mint address ends in deep. The keys are ground ahead of time and each is used for one coin only, so a launch never waits on the search.
